We got up and left, so this rating is just about service, not necessarily the food. My wife and I were touring the Eiffel Tower area, and she got hungry, most places closed at 7pm, this place opens at 7pm. We got there at 7:05pm, they told us to wait 15 more minutes until they got ready. Then they told us we could sit outside, the waiter was nice, but then another person came and told us we had to move to a table of two, no problem, we moved to a table of two. The waiter was explained to us the menu, my wife wanted a dish, I was not hungry so I was just accompanying her. The same guy that told us to move, then came out and told us to put away the perier water we had bought for our walk from the Eiffel Tower, they didn’t want drinks from outside of the business to be seen, we had to put away our bottles, we put them away. Then when my wife orders the same guy comes out and says that we both HAVE to buy separate plates to sit there, I explained I wasn’t hungry, it was for my wife and he said we both had to buy separate dishes cause we couldn’t share, I told him we weren’t sharing I was not hungry, so they said only people eating can sit there. By then it felt like we weren’t sharing bothering them. Even though the prices were a bit high for the area, I didn’t have a problem paying 100 euros for my wife’s food, but ti impose that I also had to pay buy my own plate to be able to sit and accompany her, felt like they were imposing and fixing me to buy two plates at 100 euros for each. Again I don’t have a problem spending any amount for good food, but after I felt we were being imposed their food, their fees, to receive their service was as really unsettling, so after waiting like 25 minutes, we got up and left, we didn’t even get to order, then one block away, le Campanella, they treated us wonderful, live music, great atmosphere very nice Italian restaurant, and I ended up spending 300 euros, for great food and since I was not eating I baught and extra plate to take home. So the food may be good, but the service, not from the waiter, but from the tall skinny guy was terrible, I don’t know if he was the manager or owner or supervisor, but because of his service, I would not recommend any of my friends to eat there ever again. I have tracked the world and this was my first time in f ace and wanted a good experience, but not in this place I do not recommend it for the customer service is experience.
